Term 6

In English, our writing and novel study focus book is 'The Twits'. We will also be doing a drama workshop during the first week of term where we will be writing a recount of the workshop and the events that take place.

In Maths, we will be looking at temperature, fractions, time, statistics and position and direction.

For Science, our new topic is the Human Body and Nutrition. We will be exploring the stages of human life and what a balanced diet/ exercise and good hygiene looks like in our lives to stay healthy.

In Geography, we will be exploring famous landmarks in the UK and using map skills to identify features on a map and locate key landmarks.

Our PE days will be Wednesday and Thursday. 

Pandas Forest School day will be on Tuesday.

Home Learning

Please continue to practise at home using the phonics sheets and books or Spelling Shed. Children should also read at home daily.

Please continue to use TTRockstars to practise timestables. The aim is to be able to answer all questions, in any order, within 3 seconds.
